Continuing its long standing history of delivering projects at RAF Lakenheath, Dodd Group completed the internal refurbishment of the existing main district heating boiler house, medium temperature & low temperature hot water heating systems, the associated controls and all other associated supporting mechanical service installations.

The refurbishment incorporates the replacement of 4 x Hoval boilers, 2500kw each, selected and procured as part of a separate procurement project. We also completed the refurbishment of all electrical services installations including fire alarm & emergency lighting provisions.

We also completed the supply and installation of 4no external flue stacks and the associated base civil works.

The project was started and completed between April and September in line with Base heating shut down.
