Great Yarmouth Community Housing

Dodd Group is currently undertaking its second consecutive period as gas service and maintenance contractor for Great Yarmouth Community Housing.

Dodd Group manages the service and repair programme for approx 4,800 properties covering gas, oil, renewable installations and smoke alarms.  The contract, for both domestic and communal systems, includes 24/7 maintenance of the above and replacement of major appliances and is worth approximately £1.2 million per annum.

Our partnering agreement with Great Yarmouth Community Housing has enabled us to support 6-young apprentices to supplement the locally employed engineers.

Dodd Group has also worked with GYCH on a £1m pilot study looking at hi-tech solutions to tackling fuel poverty.  Dodd Group installed heat pumps, solar thermal panels and radiator systems on properties with no access to the gas network.

 

 

Stockport Homes

Dodd Group has delivered the servicing and repair gas maintenance contract for 8811 Stockport MBC properties for the past three years. This contract has now been re-secured through the GM Procure procurement route.

The majority of work is carried out by a mobile, PDA linked, workforce of local service engineers managed from our Stockport branch office.

KPI’s are measured annually and for the last year Dodd Group performed at 99.93% of its service target.

Dudley MBC

Dodd Group has entered into a formal partnering agreement with Dudley MBC to provide electrical services covering the following streams:Periodic Inspections, Electrical Rewires and Electrical Upgrades.

Operating in a collaborative manner with the client from shared offices we are consistantly achieving high levels of quality and customer satisfaction whist maintaining an excellent health and safety record.
