Due to continued expansion, we now require a Store man / Driver to assist at our growing Stockport Site. 

PLEASE NOTE -  EXCELLENT LOCAL AREA KNOWLEDGE OF THE IMMEDIATE AREA (Stockport / Manchester) IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS POSITION

Your new role

  • Taking delivery of -  and managing the storage, stock control, picking, packing and issue of all stock items
  • Maintaining accurate records relating to stock control and delivery
  • Ensuring standards of service are met, undertaking visual and physical checks of stock items
  • Assist with collection, delivery and disposal of waste materials, redundant stock items etc
  • Overseeing the delivery of goods to any location and ensuring safe receipt

 General duties will include keeping stores area tidy and functional, overseeing the logistical delivery of goods to our sites around the Stockport / Manchester area and work in a customer focused environment and to comply with Health and Safety at work regulations.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience of Stores and or distribution practices
  • SCQF level 2 - stock control or equivalent
  • Sound geographical knowledge of Stockport and Manchester areas
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
  • Full driving licence
