Dodd Group - a privately owned family business formed in 1947; a
national M&E provider with an outstanding reputation for delivering excellent levels of service.  Based at our office in the East Midlands,  we are looking for a Domestic Electrical Supervisor /  Qualifying Supervisor to join our established and friendly team.

The position is responsible for the safety, technical standards and quality of work on existing contracts for Domestic Electrical work

.You will be working with an existing team to achieve a high standard of commercial and operational success.

• Ensuring the results of inspection and testing are properly recorded on the appropriate prescribed forms/certification.

• Check and ensure that all Health & Safety requirements are being carried out.

• Carry out quality checks on operatives ensuring that inspection and testing is be carried out to prescribed standard.

• Ensure on going accuracy of test equipment.

• The safeguarding of NICEIC forms against loss or theft and unauthorised use.

• Liaise with clients and attend all client meetings.

• Assist in other roles and responsibilities for periods of high workload and sickness/holidays

We are hoping you will have  a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the electrical trade, qualified to NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor Level. 

You must be conversant with the Electricity at Work Regulations and BS7671, associated guidance material, appropriate British Standards and other Industry Codes of Practice.
