Apprentice Shines in Stockport

At our Stockport branch we are now moving into our eighth year acting as a host for Stockport Council’s Supported Apprenticeship Scheme. During our partnership we have hosted numerous apprentices, including young offenders, individuals with learning difficulties and individuals from a care background, hoping to aid the council in their quest to help underrepresented individuals into work. We currently host five apprentices at Stockport, one of whom is Heather Palmer, a twenty-one-year-old Business Admin apprentice who joined us in January last year. Today Heather is excelling in her role at Dodd Group, advancing from general admin work to processing time sheets and organising wages with the Finance Team. After recently completing her level 2 Business Admin qualification we are delighted to announce Heather was offered a full-time position with the team at the Stockport branch
