Dodd Group has won a £15m M&E Package on a new flagship office for HSBC
Galliford Try has selected Dodd Group as its M&E partner on the landmark Birmingham office scheme which has already been forward purchased by HSBC to house the head office of its UK ring-fenced bank serving retail and commercial customers.
Work on the 210,000-sq ft 2 Arena Central building will begin later this year with Dodd Group providing the M&E services to CAT A.
Dodd Group’s Managing Director, John Kavanagh said: “We are particularly proud to have secured this flagship scheme in the heart of Birmingham as it is one of the most significant projects in the region. Site logistics will be a particular challenge that we will face but we are confident that given our existing local presence we are uniquely positioned to overcome this.”
The £400m Arena Central masterplan will eventually include one million sq ft of office and residential space, including more than 400 apartments.
