Dodd Group have recently drawn Great Yarmouth Borough Council's attention to recent advances in air source heat pump technology as the client was keen to both further reduce carbon emissions from its housing stock , and to
help its tenants keep warm in the face of rapidly increasing fuel costs .
Of particular concern were the tenants in rural areas , who do not have
access to mains gas , and who are struggling to afford a minimum
delivery of heating oil .Air source heat pumps offered us a very attractive
option .
Dodd Group has successfully installed seven Mitsubishi " Ecodan " air source heat pumps in the Council's properties, and there are more
installations on the way .
Dodd Group have also sat with the local M.P. , Tony Wright , and with other partner organizations on Great Yarmouth Borough Council's Fuel Poverty Working Group .
