Hollinswood House incorporates a range of facilities, including Shropshire’s first Community Diagnostic Centre with a CT scanner, X-ray and ultrasound on the ground floor as well as consulting and interview rooms and staff areas on the first floor. A mobile MRI scanner unit will also be available on site. The building will also accommodate a renal dialysis unit.
This project involved the repurposing of and office building into a Community Diagnostic Hub and Renal Unit.
The works comprised the minor strip out works on the Ground, First and Second Floors. The Ground floor was fitted out to provide an element of the Renal Unit and the new Community Diagnostic Hub. Part of the works on this floor involved the provision of a new MRI and CT Suite.
The works to the first and second floor involved the fit out to provide the new Renal facilities and the provision of a new electrical supply to ensure sufficient power to service the new facility including the MRI/CT facility.
The Trust appointed Dodd Group to develop the design them move into the construction phase of the project.
