This challenging project in Birmingham City Centre comprised the refurbishmentand conversion of the former Youth Court building on Steelhouse Lane to providethe Coroners Service with 3 courts, front facing public facilities and back ofhouse offices, meeting rooms and welfare facilities.

The project team was able to deliver the sectionalrefurbishment of a listed building where existing systems and structures werebeing retained. Due to tight budgetary constraints a number of existing systemshad to be brought back online, this in itself was a challenge as the buildinghad been unoccupied for a number of years and the services had not been in use.

Wherever possible  we serviced andretained existing systems minimise the cost and carbon footprint.
