Northampton Criminal Justice Centre is made up of 40 holding cells for minor offenders. The building has the facility to add an additional 20 cells in the future if required.

The building also houses virtual courtrooms, meeting rooms for solicitor consultations and the upper level is a dedicated administration space for CID and Police activities.

Challenges faced were issues with the co-ordination of M&E services in which Dodd Group successfully solved. Looking into the design in detail we managed to value engineer the solar tracking system out of the project.

The programme lasted 12 months.
