To support the site wide energy import and carbon consumption, this project delivers the installation of a new 300kW gas fired CHP unit. To enable the installation a number of infrastructure and civil design works were required, this including the upgrade and renewable of a HV transformer switch centre, modification and re-configuration of the existing site energy centre, BMS upgrades along with new metering and monitoring systems.As part of the project, the client procured the CHP unit direct to enable the long lead time to be in parallel with the design and tender process, this to facilitate rapid deployment of the installation.Main Contractor role undertaken by Dodd Group, design developed by Anderson Green
