This project involved the supply, modification of existing installation, installation, testing and commissioning of the mechanical and electrical services associated with the infrastructure to support a new modular building that was instated local to the main entrance of Southend University Hospital Prittlewell building. As part of the infrastructure provision, the project also addressed the hospitals need for additional electrical capacity and resilience to support future growth. This was in the form of upgrades to an existing electrical substation, the provision of a new standby diesel generator, new LV switchgear and LV supplies to various buildings. The mechanical works included extension of the existing medical gas system, a new boosted and treated cold water system and BMS.
