The provision of a new science block and hall within the existing St Joan of Arc Catholic School and Sixth Form; located in Rickmansworth Hertfordshire.
The new building is a multi-story mixed use science teaching block, housing 10 laboratories, multiple ancillary spaces and the school’s main hall. The multi-purpose hall which will seat 400 students features a stage, stage lighting bar, curtained proscenium opening, bleacher seating, control room, and a flexible storage/back of house area.
The project involves a complex arrangement of interfaces with the existing school infrastructure. And a concentrated emphasis on logistics, due to movement of people and plant within a live school environment
