We now have an exciting opportunity for an industry qualified Mechanical Project Manager to join our North West team (Stockport / Manchester based) to lead on a new build project to ensure the construction meets the employer’s program, requirements, and necessary statutory health and safety regulations.
Ideal applicants will have existing experience within educational, healthcare, and commercial sectors
Main Responsibilities/Duties:
The role will involve all aspects of project management in mechanical building service installations on construction projects, including:
• Design management , including co-ordination with other major trades
• Contract negotiations
• Health and Safety management
• Financial reporting to the management team and forecasting spend against the order value
• Planning, programming and progress reports
• Procurement of materials / equipment and sub-contract packages
• Site attendance for progress and design meetings with the clients representatives
• Management of projects through to testing and commissioning
Ideal Qualifications:
• Ordinary National Certificate (ONC) in Building Services
• Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Building Services
• SMSTS
