We are currently seeking a Senior MEP QS to support our thriving Northampton office. The role requires the management of multiple projects of total value £10m per annum. Projects include schools, hospitals, custodial and laboratories within a growing and exciting Eastern division. The candidate must have a full UK driving license and be willing to travel across the division to survey projects. What we are looking for:  Experience in MEP quantity surveying from a specialist MEP subcontractor or main contractor  Degree qualifications in quantity surveying  Skills in client management, cash management and optimisation  Skills in risk management, project financial control, reporting and data management  Skills in change management and contract procedures (NEC and JCT) Responsibilities include:  Leading procurement activities and contract formation  Acting in the role of contract administrator  Undertaking the procurement of projects from start to finish including the preparation of tender documentation  Managing work packages post-contract including change control and valuation, progress valuations, cost reports and final accounts  Conducting tender analysis for the purpose of contractor appointments  Representing and acting as an ambassador for the company in a professional and confidence-inspiring manner; meeting, negotiating, and corresponding with clients to form strong working relationships  Develop the commercial department, where recruitment of additional junior quantity surveyors may be required.
