We are now seeking a Document Controller to join our busy, friendly Plymouth Projects Team The main purpose of this key role for our business is to support the continued growth of the South West Projects Business whilst maintaining the company’s high standards. The successful candidate will have the ability to foster relationships with new and established clients and provide key administrative support to the Pre-Construction and Operations teams. General Responsibilities: Including but not limited to: • Assist the Team to manage the office on a daily basis to ensure it runs as efficiently and effectively as possible. • Manage and log opportunities onto the tender register for review. • Track and maintain document amendments to ensure that the team have the latest information. • Support tender sub-contractor & supplier enquiries ensure that they are all electronically filed. • Manage document uploads to document control platforms for various projects whilst ensuring that deadlines are met as agreed with our clients. • Support completion of Bid Documents and pre-qualification questionnaires. • Organise and maintain records of all staff and operative diaries and time sheets etc • Assist in the preparation of operating and maintenance manuals with the engineers • Manage and maintain the office electronic/manual filing of paperwork by the staff and operatives. • Organise inductions for all new starters; liaising with IT and other departments as required to ensure Laptops, phones, cars etc are made available at the right time. • Answer telephone calls in a professional manner • To meet and greet clients and visitors • General daily office administration duties as required You will need: You will have previous experience of working alongside a team; you will be financially astute, with the ability to prioritize your work and act on your own initiative if required. IT skills (basic packages) and strong communication skills are essential.
