The project comprised of a new build extension to replace the area of the existing school that was damaged by fire (Preschool, Reception, Year 1 and 2 classrooms and ancillary accommodation including offices, toilets, stores, entrance lobbies), including refurbishments works to certain existing areas and associated external works. A new standalone preschool building was also constructed on the site adjacent to the main school.
Dodd Group was responsible for the full design and delivery of Fire Alarm/Detection, LV Distribution, Small Power, Lighting, Induction Loops, Intruder Alarm, Access Control, Dis WC Alarm, Telephone and Data, Lightning Protection, EV Car Charging, Photovoltaics, Gas Boiler LTHW Heating, Domestic Hot & Cold Water, Above ground drainage, Mechanical Ventilation, Hybrid Natural Ventilation, Building Management System(BMS) and Sanitaryware.
