This project will be a full refurbishment of the four storey Elizabeth Fry wing within HMP Norwich, a Cat B/C prison. The building is an old residential wing located within the northern prison compound, in front of the main gate. The remodelling of all the internal spaces will provide 144 cells and better facilities for the inmates and staff.

In addition to this, a new build sports hall facility will be provided to allow inmates access to recreational activities and exercise.

M&E works will consist of a new pre-fabricated package plantroom, new CO2 ASHP heating, VRF Air Conditioning, Domestic hot and cold water, above ground drainage, mechanical ventilation, fire mist hose reels, BMS, sanitaryware, HV distribution, LV distribution, small power, data, lighting, Fire Alarm, CCTV, temper alarm, general alarm, PV, TV distribution, Cell Call, LPS amongst other key services.
