M & E Surveyor / Project Manager with Facilities Management Experience

The Person

Dodd Group is looking for an experienced Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Surveyor / Project Manager with a strong Facilities Management background to support the delivery of an exciting new contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Surveyor looking to take the next step in their career, combining technical surveying responsibilities with project management and client-facing duties.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and commercially aware professional who can confidently undertake surveys, identify project requirements and manage works through to successful completion.

You will ideally have:

• Proven experience as an M&E Surveyor, Building Services Surveyor or Project Manager
• A background in Facilities Management
• Experience working within commercial buildings
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical service
• Experience with ASHPs and associated low-carbon technologies
• Good project management and organisational skills#
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and priorities

The successful candidate will have experience in:

• M&E surveying for feasibility studies and/or full design stages
• Project Management from survey and design through to delivery
• Working within commercial properties and facilities management environments
• Mechanical and electrical building services, with a strong understanding of Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs)
• Identifying technical requirements, preparing scopes of work and supporting project delivery
• Working collaboratively with clients, contractors, consultants and internal teams
• The role will be predominantly M&E focused, with some involvement in associated building elements. A strong technical understanding of M&E systems and ASHPs is essential.
