Looking to the future

Dodd Group is passionate about providing opportunities for the next generation of building services engineers and is committed to maintaining a steady flow of new talent through its apprenticeship programme.

How it works:

Our application process opens in January each year and runs until 7th April after which we evaluate applications and invite selected candidates to attend a regional selection day in May / June. (Assessment day consists of short numerical and literacy test, general electrical / mechanical test). After a final interview, successful candidates begin their Apprenticeship in September subject to acceptance by their Training Provider.

Supporting you at every stage:

As an apprentice with Dodd Group you will be appointed a long term mentor. Your mentor will remain in touch with you for the duration of your apprenticeship. They will be on hand to provide advice, support and assistance as required.

Dodd Group is able to offer a rich and diverse experience as we operate across multiple sectors. Some apprenticeships will incorporate a 3 month rotation on different contracts to enable you to experience different sites and work styles. At the end of each rotation you will have a written touchdown review to confirm and validate learning and highlight strengths and weaknesses and a 'handover' meeting to your next site. Alternatively you may opt for a permanent site based apprenticeship working on a single project for the duration of your apprenticeship. Whichever route that you chose, you'll be rewarded with the best start into our exciting industry.
