University of Plymouth Davy Hall Refurbishment

Dodd Group delivered the MEP services via a traditional contract for the refurbishment of Davy Hall for the University of Plymouth

The project included the removal and upgrade of all the existing MEP systems, within a tight 6 week delivery program during the summer holiday period. Dodd Group worked closely with the main contractor and design team to coordinate the sensitive asbestos strip and the removal of the MEP systems. This collaboration was essential for the delivery of the project, ensuring that the works were able to progress and that the program was not compromised enabling the facility to be ready for use at the beginning of the academic year.

The project included the installation of a new suitable AHU, specialist scene controlled lighting, upgrade of the specialist systems and the infrastructure for new AV system.
