HMP Lincoln - Work in Progress

HMP Lincoln is a male Category B Prison and was opened in 1872 having a capacity to hold up to 729 remand and convicted prisoners. HMP Lincoln serves the courts of Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Humberside.

The FSI project brief is to provide fit-for-purpose Fire Safety Improvements that comply with current standards within the built environment and adhere to the requirements of the latest CPIG report.

The project involves the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of new MEP services necessary to form complete installations of the MEP services associated with the implementation of the Fire Safety Improvements to buildings throughout the HMP Lincoln Establishment.

Upgrades are to be undertaken in 6 no. wings and 24 ancillary buildings across the site.

Detection- Replace /install new In-Cell detection and Fire Alarm improvement
Emergency Lighting – Emergency Lighting replacement
Suppression- Install new hose reels and Fire suppression High Pressure Misting Hose Reel systems
Ventilation- Replace / upgrade / install new Smoke Ventilation systems
Include for all relevant fire stopping and fire compartmentation.
Replace / upgrade fire doors
General Lighting Replacement
The replacement of cell call systems and general alarm systems.
