Rolls Royce Complex Fabrications Building

Rolls Royce Complex Fabrications Building

This prestigious project involved the re-arrangement of the factory layout to accommodate new and existing machinery including the installation of a new H.V/L.V Substation and the installation of new chiller and air handling units to provide sufficient air changes and cooling for increased heat loads and occupancies. The process called for the relocation of an 8 tonne titanium press and oven - the only one in the world that starts the process of building a jet engine.

We have liaised closely with Rolls Royce factory management and workforce to ensure that production was not effected whilst the re-arrangements took place. Existing technical air compressors were used temporarily to maintain production whilst the new compressors were being installed.

This project won Programme of the Year at the inaugural Rolls Royce Excellence in Programme Management Awards
