You will be working alongside a friendly and established team, using a bespoke diary management system, to effectively schedule works to provide a quick and efficient service in ensuring resident concerns are attended and completed within the agreed timeframe. Approved Electrician - Midlands

Dodd Group are a privately owned leading M&E construction, services and property group covering the UK - due to contract growth we are now is a position to require additional Approved Electricans for our BT Contracts based in and around the West Midlands area. To ensure that the delivery of electrical aspects are delivered in an effective, efficient and professional manner to the complete satisfaction of all of our customer/s. To ensure the installations are to current regulations and to be able to work as a team member. Duties: • Able to demonstrate a proven track record with (post apprenticeship) experience of project installation work. • Install and modify electrical components and systems to include 1st fix containment, 2nd fix installations, power & lighting. Commercial Gas Engineer - Solihull based

To undertake repair, maintenance and installation of gas, plumbing and heating systems in domestic and commercial properties, ideally must be familiar with oil and medium and high-pressure systems. Main responsibilities of The Gas Engineer • To undertake heating engineering & plumbing duties including reactive repairs, servicing of boilers and other appliances, installations and associated works. • To undertake the installation of new domestic heating systems in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions, industry best practice codes, practice, and legislation. • To issue notices and certificates required by the relevant regulations relating to gas safety. • To adhere to manufacturer’s instructions when servicing, repairing or installing appliances. • To provide information to allow records to be updated following service and testing and update Gas Safety records using electronic or manual documentation. • To acquire quotes for stock from authorised suppliers, materials required to undertake works through the approved order system • To take part in the on call system to provide 24/7 emergency cover across our property portfolio. • To drive company vehicles in a safe and courteous manner and to ensure that the vehicle is maintained to appropriate standards through the compliance supervisor and fleet office and • To complete all relevant training and certifications as required by regulations as and when required. • To maintain regular contact with the site supervisor and works co-ordinators to obtain instructions and resolve working problems. • To record completed works and maintain accurate record of work carried out including measurements and calculations. Dodd Group (Midlands) are looking for a Gas Supervisor to assist with the delivery of their Wolverhampton contracts who will act as a key participant in the relationship with the Company, Sub-Contractors and the Client. The Gas Supervisor provides leadership and is responsible for (although not limited to): • Supervision and leadership of the labour on site • Ensuring site safety is maintained • Overseeing productivity of the Sub-Contractors and directly employed Staff. • Keeping up with their own work load and productivity on site. • Quality control • Site surveys • Solving issues that arise on site in a calm and measured way. • Visiting sites / jobs and identifying rectification works.
